Wilfrid Laurier University Builds Global Innovation Exchange

Published 11/30/2011

Wilfrid Laurier University has broken ground on the $103 million Global Innovation Exchange in Waterloo, Ontario. Housing the School of Business and Economics and the Department of Math, the 215,000-sf facility will feature a 1,000-seat auditorium and seven lecture halls. Designed to promote interdisciplinary collaboration, faculty offices will be dispersed throughout the building instead of clustered by department. Classrooms will also be shared by all three programs. Occupancy is expected in 2014.
