Huntsman Cancer Institute dedicated an $100 million expansion of its Salt Lake City hospital on October 28, 2011. Designed by Architectural Nexus and built by Okland Construction, the 156,000-sf addition doubles HCI's patient capacity. The expansion provides:
• 100 inpatient rooms• 102 outpatient exam/procedure rooms• Eight operating rooms• Expanded personalized medicine clinics• Expanded Cancer Learning Center• New imaging technologies, including intraoperative MRI• New Center for Breast Health• New Center for Infusion and Advanced Therapeutics• Expanded Wellness and Survivorship Center Huntsman Cancer Institute is affiliated with the University of Utah.
