Texas Children's Hospital's $220 million inpatient facility is slated for completion in early 2011. Located in Katy, the 294,000-sf hospital will feature a pediatric emergency room, surgical suites, a pathology lab, diagnostic imaging, a neurophysiology sleep lab, a hematology/oncology clinic, and clinical offices. The duration of construction was two years. The facility will provide 12 emergency beds and 48 acute care beds.
