New York Hospital Queens opened its new $210 million West Wing in June of 2010. Construction began on the seven-story, 190,000-sf facility in early 2007. The West Wing houses 80 inpatient beds, surgical suites, cardiovascular care, and orthopedic services. The project team includes design architect Perkins Eastman and construction manager Barr & Barr. New York Hospital Queens is located in Flushing, N.Y.
