INDIANAPOLIS
Wishard Hospital broke ground in May of 2010 on a $745 million replacement hospital in Indianapolis. The 11-story, 1.2 million-sf project will provide 315 inpatient beds, 18 operating rooms, four interventional labs, and 12 labor and delivery rooms. The emergency department will house 90 treatment beds and a 20-bed clinical decision unit. Completion is expected by 2014. Wishard Hospital is affiliated with Indiana University School of Medicine. The construction manager for the project is Jacobs Engineering Group.
