Shriners Hospital for Children will begin construction in late 2010 on a new pediatric hospital at Washington University Medical Center in St. Louis. The 247,000-sf facility will provide four surgical suites, 30 examination rooms, and 40 inpatient beds. The project architect is Gresham Smith Partners of Tampa. The construction management team is Paric Corp. of O'Fallon, Mo., and Barton Malow of Detroit.
