San Jose, Calif.
Santa Clara Valley Health and Hospital System will begin construction in summer of 2010 on a $300 million replacement hospital in San Jose, Calif. The 375,000-sf facility will include a Level 1 trauma center and a 168-bed patient tower. The construction manager for the project is Turner Construction. LEED sustainable design certification will be sought for the hospital. Completion is expected in 2012.
