Rush University Medical Center is building a $575 million hospital in Chicago. The 14-story, 806,000-sf facility was designed by Perkins+Will and is slated for occupancy in 2012. Construction began on the 300-bed facility in fall of 2008. LEED Gold sustainable design certification will be sought for the project. The construction manager is Powers/Jacobs.
