Oakland, Calif.
Kaiser Permanente is partnering with Recurrent Energy to install solar power systems at 15 hospitals in California. Slated for completion by summer of 2011, the project will enable Kaiser to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. The photovoltaic systems will produce approximately ten percent of the energy used annually at the sites.
