University of Southern Mississippi Dedicates Trent Lott National Center

The University of Southern Mississippi dedicated the 53,000-sf Trent Lott National Center for Excellence in Economic Development and Entrepreneurship in Hattiesburg in March of 2010. The three-story building was designed by Albert and Associates and built by Finlo Construction. Providing classrooms, conference rooms, and administrative offices, the facility houses the Department of Economic and Workforce Development, the National Center for Spectator Sports Safety and Security, and the Center for Logistics, Trade, and Transportation. Construction began on the project in February of 2005.
