Mid-Western Regional Hospital Builds Critical Care Unit

Mid-Western Regional Hospital will begin construction in August of 2010 on the €35 million Critical Care Unit in Dooradoyle in the Republic of Ireland. The facility will be designed and built by John Sisk & Son. The six-story Critical Care Unit will provide of a 12-bed ICU, a 16-bed coronary care facility, a cardiac catheterization lab, emergency care, diagnostics, and acute surgery facilities. Each floor will have a footprint of approximately 1450 sm. Completion is expected by the end of 2011.
