Methodist Hospital System Opens West Houston Health Center

Methodist Hospital System opened its West Houston health center in Texas in December of 2010. Designed by PageSoutherlandPage, the project includes a 474,000-sf hospital, a 162,000-sf medical office building, and a 13,000-sf central utility plant. The acute care hospital was built by Austin Commercial and will serve as the anchor for the Texas Medical Center-West development. The facility promotes patient safety and healing with an integrated, flexible design providing 100 beds with the ability to accommodate up to 193 beds.
