FirstHealth celebrated the opening of the Reid Heart Center Cardiac and Vascular Institute in December of 2010. The 186,000-sf facility is located on the Moore Regional Hospital campus in Pinehurst, N.C. The center features 30 critical care beds, 27 cardiology/telemetry beds, six surgical suites, five cardiac catheterization labs, and two electrophysiology suites. The facility was designed by HKS of Richmond, Va., and built by Brasfield and Gorrie of Raleigh, N.C.
