Wheaton College Science Center Attains LEED Gold

Wheaton College’s Science Center was awarded LEED Gold sustainable design certification in November of 2010. Located in Wheaton, Ill., the five-story, 134,730-sf facility houses classrooms, research labs, and teaching labs for biology, chemistry, geology, and environmental studies. The $50 million center also provides a research greenhouse, an observatory, and a science museum. The facility was designed by FGM Architects.
