Kaiser Permanente Medical Center Opens in Vacaville

Kaiser Permanente Medical Center will open its $500 million healthcare campus in Vacaville, Calif., in October of 2009. Comprised of a four-story, 340,000-sf hospital and a 217,000-sf medical office building, the 166-bed project features abundant natural light for optimal patient healing and PVC-free rubber flooring. The sustainably-designed medical center includes a 24-hour emergency department, a critical care unit, diagnostic imaging, and surgical suites.
