Columbia, Miss.
Truman Veterans Hospital broke ground on a $25 million addition in Columbia, Mo., in August of 2009. The project includes 27,000-sf of new construction and 12,000-sf of renovation to existing facilities. The new building will feature a surgical suite with five operating rooms. An additional $2 million will support renovated and upgraded research space. The general contractor for the expansion and renovation project is River City Construction of Peoria, Ill. The addition is slated for completion by year-end 2010 with renovations reaching completion by May of 2012.
