Duke University Health System Expands Durham Campus

Duke University Health System is initiating a $950 million expansion of Duke University Hospital in Durham, N.C.  A $250 million, 267,000-sf cancer center is slated for occupancy in 2012. The seven-story facility will provide 140 exam rooms and 75 infusion stations. The $700 million Duke Medicine Pavilion will open in 2013. The eight-story, 580,000-sf patient tower will house 16 operating suites, 96 critical care beds, and 64 intermediate care beds.
