Tampa, Fla.
A $12 million surgical suite expansion at James Haley Veterans Medical Center in Tampa was completed in summer of 2009. The 40,000-sf project included the construction of a $7.5 million, 25,000-sf addition to the hospital’s pathology laboratory. A $3.5 million, 12,000-sf renovation and expansion of the emergency department was also completed. The design architect for both projects was VOA Associates.
