GURGAON, INDIA
Fortis Healthcare is building the Fortis International Institute of Medical Sciences on 10.7 acres in Gurgaon, India. The 1.5 million-sf first phase of construction will house between 250 and 400 beds for cancer, trauma, and pediatric care. Construction began in August of 2007 with occupancy slated for November of 2010. Subsequent construction phases will support other multi-specialty departments with a total of 1,000 beds.
