Palos Heights, Ill.
Palos Community Hospital will break ground in early 2010 on a $420 million expansion of its healthcare facility in Palos Heights, Ill. The 400,000-sf, eight-story wing will include surgery, intensive care, and private inpatient rooms. Completion is expected in 2013. The second phase of the project involves renovation of 185,000 sf in the existing hospital, creating additional space for emergency, imaging, laboratory, and pharmacy services. The renovation is expected to reach completion in 2018.
