West Houston Medical Center Initiates Expansion

West Houston Medical Center will break ground in late 2009 on a $70 million expansion. Comprised of 95,000-sf of new construction and 33,000-sf of renovation, the project will expand cardiovascular, surgical, critical care, and women’s services. A three story cardiovascular and surgical tower will be built adjacent to the existing facility, and the Woman’s Hospital of Texas at West Houston will be added as a wing of the main hospital. Completion is slated for January of 2012.
