Published 10/21/2009

Rolls Royce broke ground on its Crosspointe aerospace campus in October of 2009. Sited on over 1,000 acres in Prince George County, Va., the 140,000-sf, $170 million manufacturing facility is slated for completion in late 2010. Designed and built by Haskell, the building will house production, assembly, and testing space for aerospace components. Future plans for the Crosspointe campus include a research facility for the Commonwealth Center of Advanced Manufacturing (CCAM), a partnership including the Commonwealth of Virginia, the University of Virginia, Virginia Tech, Rolls-Royce, and other partners.
