Colchester Regional Hospital began construction in December of 2008 on a $160 million replacement hospital in Truro, Nova Scotia, Canada. The 124-bed facility is slated for occupancy in fall of 2011. The new health center will provide surgical, psychiatric, maternal, pediatric, intensive care, and diagnostic treatment services. The project will include a helipad and expanded urology services.
