Carrier India Builds Gurgaon R&D Center

Carrier India, an air-conditioning and refrigeration manufacturer, broke ground on its Research & Development Centre in Gurgaon in September of 2008. Part of a $50 million investment in Carrier’s Indian operations, the project will be built to meet LEED sustainable design criteria and is slated for completion in 2009. The building will house facilities for product development, engineering, research, and training. Carrier India is a subsidiary of Carrier Corp., a unit of United Technologies Corp.
