Carnegie Mellon University Builds Qatar Academic Facility

Carnegie Mellon University is constructing a 460,000-sf academic facility at the Qatar Foundation’s Education City in Doha. The project, which broke ground in May of 2006, will be dedicated in February of 2009. Designed by Legoretta+Legoretta of Lomas Reforma, Mexico, the facility features a three-story atrium, classrooms, offices, and laboratories. The building is located between the Qatar facilities of Texas A&M University and Weill Cornell Medical College.
