UC San Diego Builds Sulpizio Family Cardiovascular Center

The University of California, San Diego has selected EMCOR subsidiaries Dynalectric Company and University Mechanical & Engineering Contractors to provide the electrical and mechanical infrastructure for the 128,000-sf Sulpizio Family Cardiovascular Center in San Diego. The four-story structure will provide ambulatory and inpatient care with over 20 exam rooms, clinical research facilities, 24 intensive and intermediate care beds, four cardiac catheterization labs, four cardiac operating rooms, imaging, and an emergency department with 18 private exam stations. Mechanical and electrical systems will be housed on two interstitial floors.
