Lebanese American University Breaks Ground on Medical School

Lebanese American University broke ground on the Gilbert and Rose-Marie Chaghoury School of Medicine in Byblos on July 18, 2008. Slated for completion in 2010, the 12,500-sm facility will house the new medical school and the Alice Ramez Chaghoury School of Nursing. The $18 million project will include classrooms, simulation and training suites, an electronic library, videoconferencing facilities, and multidisciplinary laboratories.
