Kaiser Permanente Plans Fontana Replacement Hospital

Kaiser Permanente will build a 482,078-sf replacement hospital in Fontana, Calif. The seven-story, 314-bed facility will meet seismic safety standards set for the year 2030. The new sustainably-designed Fontana Medical Center Hospital will include a 51-bed emergency department and a cardiac center. A 32,100-sf central utility plant and the 55,774-sf Hospital Support Building, housing pharmacy, radiology, and ancillary services, will also be constructed at the site.
