Morehead State University Creates Center for Education, Health and Research

Morehead State University is partnering with the University of Kentucky and St. Claire Regional Medical Center to build the 92,500-sf Center for Education, Health and Research in Morehead, Ky.  Providing medical education and patient diagnosis and treatment, the $28 million facility will break ground in August of 2008 with completion slated for 2010. The center will house classrooms for MSU’s medical imaging and nursing departments, nurse and physician training programs for the University of Kentucky, and the St. Claire residency training program. The facility will also house cancer research facilities, a family medical clinic, radiology, a clinical laboratory, and a dental suite.
