Froedtert Hospital, the academic medical center of the Medical College of Wisconsin, dedicated its $95 million cancer center in Milwaukee in May of 2008. The 173,000-sf patient-centered facility will accommodate multi-disciplinary teams of doctors and health care providers, enabling patients to undergo testing, consult with physicians, and receive treatment in a single location. The project, part of a 500,000-sf addition to Froedtert Hospital, includes a total of 65 exam rooms in four clinics, two floors for future expansion, and dedicated underground parking for cancer patients.
