SUNY Oswego Renovates Science Facilities

The State University of New York at Oswego is planning the renovation and expansion of the existing 80,000-sf Piez Hall to create a 262,000-sf state-of-the-art science center. The first phase of the project, designed by Cannon Design, consists of renovations to Piez Hall and the construction of a 50,000-sf addition; groundbreaking is slated for summer of 2008. The second phase involves the construction of a $69.5 million, 132,000-sf laboratory building fronting Piez Hall. The total project cost for the consolidated science, math and engineering facility is estimated at $120 million.
