West Bloomfield, Mich.
The $310 million Henry Ford West Bloomfield Hospital is under construction in West Bloomfield, Mich. Slated for completion in spring of 2009, the four-story, 733,000-sf facility will provide full medical and surgical services, as well as orthopedics, neurosurgery, women's health, cancer care, and cardiovascular services. The hospital, which will include a new emergency department, will initially be constructed with 192 beds and will expand to 300 beds as patient volume increases. All beds will be in private rooms. The hospital will feature robotic surgery and MRI, PET, and CT imaging technologies.
