Lindab Develops CLICK Duct System

Published 3/28/2008

Lindab, a manufacturer of spiral duct systems, is developing CLICK, a tool-free duct assembly system. The patent-pending duct and fitting product is based on Lindab's groundbreaking Lindab Safe system and is designed to couple spiral duct sections with unique double-lipped sealing gaskets into rolled-over, lead-in edges without tools, rivets, or welding. The CLICK system will be released in 2009. Advantages of the system are faster assembly, no need for manual tools, and ease of installation – especially where space is limited. CLICK's rivetless design won't produce holes as with screws or rivets, making it a tighter system that is easier to clean, preventing bacterial growth. Lindab Inc.'s North American headquarters and manufacturing facility is located in Portsmouth, Va. Lindab was established in 1959 in Grevie, Sweden. For more information, visit www.lindabusa.com.
