QUAKERTOWN, Pa.
St. Luke’s Hospital is engaged in a $20 million expansion of its Quakertown healthcare facilities. A $9 million, 22,000-sf outpatient center is currently under construction and will open in spring of 2009. An $8 million bone and joint institute will be built in Quakertown less than a quarter of a mile from the main hospital. St. Luke’s is also investing $1 million to renovate and modernize 40 medical-surgical and ICU beds in its existing hospital.
