Woodstock General Breaks Ground on New Hospital

Woodstock General Hospital broke ground on its new 350,000-sf facility in fall of 2008. Located in Woodstock, ON, Canada, the three-story, 178-bed hospital will feature advanced diagnostic imaging, five surgical suites, a critical care unit, and a women’s and children’s center. The hospital will provide acute inpatient care, ambulatory services, rehabilitation, and continuing care. The facility will be built, financed, and maintained over a 30-year period by Integrated Team Solutions. The general contractor is EllisDon. Occupancy is expected in summer of 2011.
