UC Davis Plans Engineering Unit 4

The University of California, Davis is planning to construct the $32 million Engineering 4 facility. Designed by CO Architects with Research Facilities Design (RFD) providing laboratory design services, the project will be located in UC Davis’ central campus for chemical engineering and materials science. Housing 40,000 asf, the building is expected to be two to three stories in height and fit within the context of creating the fourth building for the College of Engineering. The lab design will feature a predominance of generic modules to achieve initial and future cost efficiencies.
