South Dakota School of Mines & Technology Builds New Chemistry & Chemical Engineering Building

South Dakota School of Mines & Technology is planning to build a new Chemistry/Chemical Engineering Building in Rapid City, S.D. The project includes a multi-story two wing classroom and an R&D facility. The classroom portion of the building will include lecture areas, laboratory spaces, and offices. The research and development portion of the building will be open space for future development for interdisciplinary research activities. The project is being designed by TSP Architects, with the Minneapolis office of SmithGroup as associate architect and Research Facilities Design (RFD) as laboratory design consultant.
