Northern Essex Community College has completed its new Technology Center in Haverhill, Mass. The state-of-the-art education and training facility, sited in the Greater Merrimack Valley Community, was designed by Miller Dyer Spears. The school's first new building in over 30 years, the $6.9-million, 30,000-sf facility is comprised of a two-story classroom wing, a large multipurpose room, and a grand foyer. The two-story wing houses fiber-optics and smart classrooms, network labs, faculty offices, a photography studio, an ensemble rehearsal and music practice rooms.
