University of South Florida Plans Lakeland Research Campus

The University of South Florida-Lakeland is planning to develop a $200-million campus and research park on 500 acres located between Orlando and Tampa in Lakeland, Fla. The 1 milllion-square foot campus will be accommodate 16,000-students, dorm space for 500, and 4,500 parking spaces when it opens in 2009. The project will include office and retail spce.
