Memorial Hermann Healthcare System Breaks Ground on Medical Office Building

Published 9/23/2004

Memorial Hermann Healthcare System will break ground on a $155 million medical office plaza at Texas Medical Center in Houston in October 2004. Housing over 500,000 sf and a 2,400-car parking garage, the facility will accommodate up to 200 physicians. With restaurant and retail occupying the first two floors, the building will house a 100,000-sf ambulatory care center with eight surgical suites, four endoscopy suites, and a full modality imaging center. A gateway skybridge will connect the structure to the Memorial Hermann Hospital and Memorial Hermann Children's Hospital. Developed in partnership with developer Mischer Healthcare, the facility will be constructed in two years.
