Published 3/7/2004

Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center is planning a $115-million, 11-story research facility on its main Cincinnati campus. The 363,000-sf building will accommodate research facilities, labs, offices, and the Center for Computational Medicine, an interdisciplinary center housing human genetics, environmental health, epidemiology, mathematics, medicine, and biomedical engineering research. Scientists in the facility will be grouped according to research theme instead of academic division or department. Construction is expected to begin in summer of 2004 with completion in 2007. The project team includes GBBN Architects, Messer Construction, Fosdick & Hilmer, and THP Ltd.
