Northeast Association of the Blind Renovates Albany Headquarters

The Northeastern Association of the Blind at Albany celebrated the beginning of its $3-million headquarters renovation in Albany, N.Y. on October 28, 2004. Designed by Collins + Scoville Architects P.C., the project will improve access and double the Association's footprint for a total of 56,000 sf. The general contractor for the renovation is Sano-Rubin Construction.  Completion is slated for late 2005. The Northeastern Association of the Blind provides a full range of services to the blind and those with sight loss, including vision screening, employment and job services, and technology training.
