Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children & Women in Orlando broke ground on the $11-million Bert Martin's Champions for Children Emergency Department & Trauma Center in October 2004. The 23,500-sf facility will house 33 beds, including four trauma bays, thirteen beds for emergencies, and sixteen beds for minor conditions and injuries.
