The Advanced Technology Center (ATC) at KellyUSA, part of the Alamo Community College District's Information Technology and Security Academy, houses 23,000-sf of classroom and computer lab facilities for training students in the aerospace and information technology industries. The center opened in July 2002 and features a large videoconferencing facility, a fuel-cell technologies research lab, and widescreen Smart Boards with access to the Internet and networked computers. The ATC will soon bring a computer integrated manufacturing cell online that will use processes such as robotics to create products.
