American Type Culture Collection (ATCC), a nonprofit bioproducts resource center, is planning a $5-million expansion of its Prince William County facilities. Currently housed in 100,000 sf at Innovation Technology Park, ATCC will expand with 19,000 sf of genomics and biological projects storage space, enabling ATCC to serve its clients with greater speed and efficiency. ATCC, one of the world's largest suppliers of biological materials, will also develop administrative space and facilities to house its information technology equipment, which can later be converted to lab space.
