Point Loma Nazarene Renovation Completed

Published 2/4/2002

Renovations to a 48,000-sf building have been completed at Point Loma Nazarene University's Mission Valley campus. Planned and designed by Milo Architecture Group of San Diego, the 30-year old, four-story building houses the university's graduate programs. The building's site and two-level parking structure were altered to meet ADA specifications, and upgrades were made to existing HVAC and elevator systems. An expansion of the central tower and creation of a new public lobby were included in the project, as well as additional space for faculty offices. Design of the $2 million renovation began in September of 2000. General contractor R/G Construction began construction in Februrary of 2001. The campus was open for classes in September while external improvements continued into December.
