NORTH AUSTIN, Texas
The Domain, a 235-acre high tech complex, is being developed by Austin-based Endeavor Real Estate Group LLC at IBM's original campus in North Austin. The mixed-use project will accommodate 700,000 sf of office, manufacturing, and distribution space equipped with a high-speed fiber network. An on-site central utility plant will provide discounted electrical power. Facilities for child care, fitness, and recreation are also planned. Renovation began in November 2000 on Building 5, which will house 176,000 sf of loft-style offices equipped with high ceilings, natural light, fiber connectivity, and redundant electrical power.
