ROCK ISLAND, Ill.
Modern Woodmen of America, a fraternal life insurance society, has selected Flad & Associates of Madison, Wis., to design a renovation of the Home Office Building. The finished facility will accommodate 400 employees in 270,000 gsf, providing technology-driven office space, flexible training for agents and underwriters, and a central computer system to serve three quarters of a million members. Other team members include Affiliated Engineers (MEP); Flad Structural Engineers (structural engineering); and Kraus Anderson (construction manager.) Completion is anticipated for 2003.
