Julie is a design strategist who drives progressive change through engaging and dynamic planning. She is adept at developing tools that synthesize ideas and goals to deliver solutions which honor the core values of the client. Julie is passionate about research spaces and believes deeply in the potential of science and design to improve our world.
Julie has a background in architecture and master planning and has focused on research spaces in public, private, and higher education sectors for over 15 years. Prior to joining brightspot, she worked in multi-faceted roles in architecture and consulting at Ballinger, Gensler, and JLL to provide design strategy development and execution, occupancy planning, and project management.
