Katherine (Katie) Roberson is the project manager for the Integrated Space Solutions (ISS) department at Sandia National Labs. Katie knows the importance of managing projects and leading people through strategic initiatives that create mutually beneficial outcomes for teams and the organization. She holds a bachelor’s in business administration- project management from Columbia Southern University and is currently pursuing a master’s in organizational communication from the University of Kansas.
Katie has certifications from PMI in traditional and agile project methodologies and is a Certified Scrum Master along with being a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt. She also holds certifications as a Prosci Change Practitioner and Strategic Change Management from The Institute of Leadership.
As much as Katie loves all things project management, some her favorite things to do outside of her professional life include spending time with family (including a very cute cocker spaniel), anticipating a grandbaby due in February, learning about and mentoring on self-development, reading, and keeping somewhat healthy with exercise.
Currently, Katie is working with the space management team to improve hybrid work for on-site and remote or telecommuting employees, refining the understanding of space utilization in a hybrid world, and exiting a large, leased office facility in a very compressed timeline.
